چکیده

The superconductors with the Ginzburg-Landau (G-L) parameter ($\kappa$) $\sim1/\sqrt{2}$ exist near a critical Bogolomonyi (B) point where they show inter-type domains between type-I and type-II superconductivity. While such physics is well understood for isotropic superconductors, experimental investigation of anisotropic B-point remains an unattained goal mainly due to unavailability model material systems. Theoretically, are expected or behaviour definite directions applied magnetic field. Here, from directional point-contact Andreev reflection spectroscopy field-angle dependent ac susceptibility measurements, we that ZrB$_{12}$ superconductor, it exhibits field-direction behaviour. These observations match remarkably theoretical expectations superconductor B-point. Therefore, our results project as system superconductivity can be explored experimentally.

Enhancement of superconductivity near a nematic quantum critical point.

We consider a low T_{c} metallic superconductor weakly coupled to the soft fluctuations associated with proximity to a nematic quantum critical point (NQCP). We show that (1) a BCS-Eliashberg treatment remains valid outside of a parametrically narrow interval about the NQCP, (2) the symmetry of the superconducting state (d wave, s wave, p wave) is typically determined by the noncritical interac...

Enhancement of superconductivity near the ferromagnetic quantum critical point in UCoGe.

We report a high-pressure single crystal study of the superconducting ferromagnet UCoGe. Measurements of the ac susceptibility and resistivity under pressures up to 2.2 GPa show ferromagnetism is smoothly depressed and vanishes at a critical pressure p(c) = 1.4 GPa. Near the ferromagnetic critical point superconductivity is enhanced. Upper-critical field measurements under pressure show B(c2)(0...

Single-gap s-Wave superconductivity near the charge-density-wave quantum critical point in CuxTiSe2.

The in-plane thermal conductivity kappa of the layered superconductor CuxTiSe2 was measured down to temperatures as low as Tc/40, at x=0.06 near where the charge-density-wave order vanishes. The absence of a residual linear term at T-->0 is strong evidence for conventional s-wave superconductivity in this system. This is further supported by the slow magnetic field dependence, also consistent w...

Superconductivity near a Quantum-Critical Point: The Special Role of the First Matsubara Frequency.

Near a quantum-critical point in a metal strong fermion-fermion interaction mediated by a soft collective boson gives rise to incoherent, non-Fermi liquid behavior. It also often gives rise to superconductivity which masks the non-Fermi liquid behavior. We analyze the interplay between the tendency to pairing and fermionic incoherence for a set of quantum-critical models with effective dynamica...

Relaxing near the Critical Point

Critical slowing down of the relaxation of the order parameter has phenomenological consequences in early universe cosmology and in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions. We study the relaxation rate of long-wavelength fluctuations of the order parameter in an O(N) scalar theory near the critical point to model the non-equilibrium dynamics of critical fluctuations near the chiral phase transit...
